We should laugh more!

The average adult laughs 4 to 8 times per day, but the average child laughs about 150 times per day. No wonder the Bible says we need to approach Jesus as children. We would be so much better off if we would stop being so serious about everything and enjoying our lives more.
Thank you Joyce Meyer for reminding me!

Rejoice in the Lord always, I will say Rejoice! Phillippians 4:4

I am starting today...

  1. I know what you are saying is true.
    I must say I struggle with this - I tend to be too intense :-(
    I love being around people who have that capacity for humour and light heartedness.
    My desire is to be one of them one day: it will have to be His doing though.
    Yay that He is able!

  2. Comment No 2 from me: I found this extract from the hymn "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" on another friend's blog.
    It sounds comforting and inspiring: I hope the words do that for you.

    "Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
    Thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
    Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
    Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!"

  3. Dis die volle waarheid wat jy hier se!

    Saam met Fil4:4 hou ek dikwels vas aan The Joy of the Lord is my Strength! The Strength of the Lord, is my Joy, ook sommer!

    Dankie vir die herinnering daaraan om meer te lag!
